Data Communications Company has announced its partnership with IBM to modernise the infrastructure that powers Great Britain’s smart meter network. As the Data Communications Company (DCC) works toward enabling smart meters in every home, this partnership will deliver a future-proof platform that maximises efficiency and minimises downtime.

This partnership will deliver a stable and reliable solution for customers by optimising the DCC’s Data Service Provider (DSP) systems and services, ensuring seamless coordination and control of messaging between smart meters and energy suppliers.
